consider becoming a Welcome Week Leader. As a Welcome Week Leader, you
will have the fantastic opportunity to lead a group of first-year
students in their transition from high school to the University of
Minnesota during Welcome Week.
As a Welcome Week Leader, you’ll gain:
- Deeper awareness of your own strengths and leadership style
- Inclusive communication and facilitation strategies for building connections and community
- Mindfulness and appreciation of diverse perspectives, backgrounds, philosophies, and cultures
- Tolerance of ambiguity and critical decision-making ability in a complex environment
- New knowledge about the University campus, community, and resources

· Monday, February 2nd from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
· Wednesday, February 4th from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
· Friday, February 6th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
· Tuesday, February 10th from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
· Thursday, February 12th from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
o Also visit us outside on the Coffman Front Plaza for hot chocolate from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
· Friday, February 13th from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
