Q: How is this different than the Health Careers Fair which takes place every fall?
A: The Health Interprofessional School Fair is different in a few ways.
1. It is being co-hosted by an undergraduate student organization, Interprofessional Pre-Health Students.
2. It will also include a number of other medical schools, pharmacy schools, and other health professional programs from outside the state.
3. It will have a narrower focus, with not as many different health career options to explore. This event is maybe better suited for students who know that pharmacy (etc.) is the field they are heading towards, and will be able to connect with admissions representatives from other pharmacy (etc.) schools, however it will be open to all!

Not exactly, but another (similar) exciting event will happen instead!
In 2016, the national meeting of the National Association of Advisors
for Health Professions (NAAHP) is coming to Minneapolis from June 15-19, 2016. Woohoo! During that conference, there is typically a Meet the Deans program on the Saturday
afternoon - looking ahead to 6-18-16 - for students to meet with
visiting school representatives. More information on this event will be
available as the meeting approaches.
